A big part of what I do is to unravel the essence and potential of immersive mediums, turning the abstract or foreign into real understanding.
Keynote presentations
I've done solo presentations at award shows like Awwwards and Cannes Lions, tech conferences like NAB, Digility and AES, and special interest events, such as Aviation Festival Asia where I spoke about how in-flight entertainment can leverage VR. Other topics range from broad takes on immersive technology or the psychology of immersion, to more niche takes on psychoacoustics or production workflows.
Panels
Through the years I've done more than I can count, but a partial list includes SXSW, VRX, VRLA, Oculus Connect, Digital Hollywood, World's Fair Nano, and NYC Media Lab. I'm also available as moderator.
Education and workshops
What I love most about speaking engagements is helping people understand something they had not grasped before. This means educational settings are close to my heart, and I've previously held presentations and lectures ad places like North Carolina School of the Arts, and New York School of Visual Arts. I've also done educational presentations at many major ad agencies.
